Sid Miller Must Think Texans Are Stupid

Sid Miller is once again twisting the truth, cutting quotes mid-sentence, to falsely imply I said something I did not.

Why? Because Texas voters are rejecting him, and he knows it. When politicians are losing, they stop debating honestly and start hoping voters won’t check the facts.

In that debate, I was clearly recounting a conversation with Texas farmers and quoting what they told me. The full statement began: “And those farmers said the worst workers we have…” — words Sid Miller conveniently cut out of his press release.

I was not stating my personal view about American workers. Anyone who watches the full clip can see that plainly.

Texans deserve honest debate, not selectively edited smear tactics. Unfortunately, Sid Miller is banking on voters not paying attention and assuming they’re stupid enough to fall for it.

Texas voters are smarter than that, a lesson he will learn on March 3rd.
